It is charming with Southern-style humor. And Leaving Cold Sassy Tree is Olive Ann’s unfinished sequel to Cold Sassy Tree. Loved it too but it needed her final touch.

No, not at all! I love that book and its sequel. Except the author passed away too soon. It would have been great to hear more from her. You will love it! I hope.

Dude, you have all the luck! I need to get out more, and let my inner little out. I used to find the best stuff that way! 😉

It’s probably been banned in half of the states because it was written in the “inappropriate” language of its time. Just ignore the “N” word and you might not go to hell. Enjoy!

Whenever I read or hear the word “sassy” I am instantly transported back to 1992 when Phil Hartman was acting in a skit as the editor of Sassy Magazine…”That’s…Sassssy!”
    I hope it’s a good book 🙂 I love the south!

Had to come back and say I had never heard of the book before your post. Then I read the comments and ordered it. Absolutely one of my favorite books! Thank you for randomly posting about it after you found it. Guess this is a book club! What did you find this week?
