This morning I found myself watching Bet On Your Baby on Hulu. It basically boils down to people betting that their children won’t succeed at things, or getting really bummed when they don’t do things because that was a $5k mistake.
Does anyone have a recommendation of something better to watch on either Hulu or Netflix?

Did you like it? Kaling wrote in her book (Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me?) that men probably wouldn’t be into her comedy, but I can’t see why not – she’s hilarious!
I haven’t watched it yet myself, but I’ve heard that “The Supersizers” on Hulu is really funny, where two British actors have to recreate and eat meals from various historical eras, like the French Restoration period and the WWII Rations years.

Hulu: Six Men Getting Sick, the Grandmother, and the Alphabet. Basically, all the David Lynch shorts on there. I haven’t seen the other three but I’m sure they’re interesting and as of right now “free” on Hulu.
Netflix: Following and Double Indemnity. Two good noirs from different eras.
I second Burn Notice or Lie to Me, both are kick ass

yup, it’s on Hulu. I think it’s worth watching 15 minutes of. I think,
I suggest you not watch any thing except the new moon, ducks on ponds and yellow lines that recede around hair pin curves on the Angels Crest Highway. If you have a hankering to be really hip then go to the beach at Sunset and watch water while repeating this Mantram… “I am not what seems apparent”
Steve Van Zandt in Lilyhammer. I watched it reluctantly and was hooked.Netflix.
Sadly, I must report that I don’t know what Hulu is and from your description of this show, I’m unlikely to try to find it. Have a good week!

Korean dramas. The shortest ones are 16 episodes of an hour each. Netflix AND Hulu have a huge selection, so if you’re looking for time wasters… you’ll never be in need again! 😛
For action/suspense, I’d start with City Hunter.
Romcom, look for You’re Beautiful, Lie to Me, My Princess… most of them are romcoms.
They do speak in Korean, but all come fully subtitled. If that hurts your brain too much, try Australian kid shows. H2O: Just Add Water is a series about three girls who become mermaids and have to try to hide their secret on the mainland. 😛 Then the same writer did another ridiculous show called MythQuest about kids who… well, I don’t think I can even EXPLAIN that one. I watch some pretty random things.
Oh! Elephant Princess! I forgot about Elephant Princess. No! Wait! The Lizzie Bennet Diaries is a modern retelling of Pride and Prejudice through Lizzie Bennet vlogging! I laughed, I cried… I swooned. There are 100 episodes, averaging 5 minutes each.
On Netflix
“Lost Girl” a soap opera about Fae living in modern Vancouver. Oddly compelling.
“Everything Or Nothing” a documentary on how the James Bond Franchise came about.
“Doomsday Book” a Korean science fiction film made of three short films
“Boardwalk Empire” a soap opera about prohibition era Atlantic City

I though that Netflix had one show…what is it, a fully fledged broadcaster, onw? Hulu? What is the world coming to?
Every time I see a new reality show advertised, I sigh and say to myself ‘they can’t think of anything worse than this’ Ashley, I now have my head in my hands. Like others I don’t know Hulu…luckily, but good luck in finding something to watch. Will you let us know when you do?

Some of my favourite shows on Hulu are Rev (SO hilarious. Sad they don’t have any more seasons) and Little Mosque (also pretty funny and interesting). Line of Duty was a pretty good short one too. I think the episodes were 60-90 minutes, and there were around 5 episodes.
I recently watched a series on Netflix called Sherlock… It’s really good, (If you like Sherlock Holms.)
